I love Jesus but I cuss a little. Papa Boy (my Dad) will say to me, ‘Now Sugar, are you kissing my grandbabies with that dirty mouth?”
“Sugar, this is your Dad…”
I am 40 years old and still talk to my parents every day.
I call my Mom and I tell her everything about my day and she talks to Rodee-boy as we sit on the porch and wait for the bus.
My Dad has to call me cause I told him that he taught me girls don’t call boys…ha-ha….
If I miss one day talking to him I get this message on my machine:
“Sugar, this is your Dad, don’t worry about me…call off the search warrants and call off the police dogs cause I'm Ok”.
How I Met Michael…
I was 16, in my Spanish 2 class and overheard a guy say Baskin Robbins was hiring. I was like OMG that would be fun and perfect… I’m down.
So I go and get the job instantly. Well it ends up that Mr. Ketterer works there and he is going to be my trainer.
He asked me, “What are you into?” I just returned from touring art museums in Europe with my Granny so I say, “I’m into art.” He said, “Me too!” I was like OMG this guy is just trying to be cool and like what I like.
He said, “Look here, I will draw you something.” When I saw what he drew, I was like $%?!#T… you are like a real deal artist.
From KNOXVILLE to Orange County
A few years ago, our family of 8 packed up and left our beloved 100 year home in Tennessee and moved to California in the pursuit of happiness. We were following the Lord to fulfill what He had for us. We have fallen in love with the weather and the terrain. The canyons, the cliff of Laguna with crashing waves, the flat orig’s of Huntington Beach, or horse trails in Anaheim are all beautiful. The older you get you pay attention to what makes you thrive, not just survive.
